Date:6th of December 1957

Description:Visitors to the Christmas Bazaar held at Riverway Secondary Modern Girls' School taking part in a shooting competition. The fair raised £130, £100 of which was put towards the Stafford 'Goodwill' Movement to lend to a family at St. Martin's refugee camp, near Vienna, to help them buy furniture and equipment for a new home. The remaining £30 was to be given to English children's charities. The school's headmistress at the time was Mrs D.M. Poppleton and the bazaar was organised by the deputy headmistress, Mrs E.M. Quick.
