Date:4th of October 1952

Description:Eleven representatives of the biggest shoe manufacturers in the United States on a visit to Lotus Ltd’s shoe factory on Sandon Road, Stafford. The group included all of the members of the Technical Committee of the American National Shoemakers’ Association. Seated are James Bostock, H.J. Bostock and Godfrey Bostock of Lotus Ltd. The delegation had earlier visited Lotus’s Stone factory.

Members of the American party were Charles H. Jones Jr., Henry Boyd, Allen Cadwell, Warren Reardon, Charles Slosberg, Samuel Slosberg, David S. Cohen, Byron A. Gray, J. Edson Andrews, W.W. Stephenson and James H. Nolan.
