Description:Mr C.F. Allen, Central Staffordshire Planning Officer, explaining points in the development plan for Stafford at a one-day school arranged by the Stafford Branch of the Workers' Educational Association, held at the Assembly Rooms on Tipping Street in Stafford. He talked about plans for the neighbourhood unit scheme at Baswich, for the Stafford western by-pass (now part of the M6) and for Queensway inner ring-road. Mr C.T. Botham, Chairman of Stafford WEA, presided.
