Description:Mr D Tonks (judge) points out prizewinning exhibits to the Chairman, the Rev. W A Appleby (Vicar of Bednall) at Acton Trussell horticultural show, looking on are left to right: Mr A W Bunn (committee member), MR F H Beardmore and Mr Moseley (judges).

There were a total of 231 entries in the second annual Acton Trussell, Bednall and Teddesley Hay horticultural show on the afternoon of Saturday 21 August. Proceeds were for Parish Church funds and the show was arranged on behalf of the Parochial Church Council, by Mr F H Beardmore and Mr A W Bunn. In the evening there was a whist drive, at which Mr Cowan was master of ceremonies.
