Description:There had been a school in Hyde Lea from around 1863 until it closed in 1980. In later years the cottage to the left of this view, and part of the building (centre left) were demolished and redeveloped as a private house. The remaining part of the school (on the right) became Hyde Lea and Coppenhall Village Hall.
