Description:Accompanied by his Agent (Mr J W Moore, on the left), the Conservative candidate, Mr Hugh Fraser M.P. is photographed by the Staffordshire Newsletter as he arrives at the Borough Hall in Stafford to hand in a bulky collection of nomination papers representing support from all parts of the Stafford and Stone Division. This photograph was taken just a few days before the General Election held on 26 May 1955.
