Description:This postcard view shows Stafford Brass Band . The Band was re-formed at the English Electric Co., Lichfield Road Works during the Second World War. In the late 1940s the band moved to the Royal British Legion headquarters in Eastgate Street and became Stafford British Legion Band. The band was also later known as the Stafford Borough and British Legion Band and Stafford Concert Brass. If you recognise anyone in the picture please contact us.

On the lower right of the picture there is an inscription confirming that this picture was taken by Stafford photographer A J Guy, of 141 Newport Road, Stafford.
