Date:20th of June 1912

Description:Schoolchildren taking part in a play during a garden fete held at Barlaston Hall in order to raise funds for a new Parish Room for the village. Mrs H.J. Broughton-Adderley of Barlaston Hall was the host.

The children were from Barlaston C of E School and were directed by their headmistress Miss Rachel Greatorex. This scene is captioned 'Harold taking the oath' and the play was titled 'Saxon and Monk'.
