Date:1911

Description:Now situated near the junction of Green Lane with the modern Western Springs Road, this cittage was then known as Beeches Cottage, home of George Upton, a bill poster by trade and Rugeley's last Town Crier. It still stands hidden away, no longer thatched today but the bucolic location is unrecognisable due to development.
