Description:This postcard view looks along Market Street towards Crown Bridge. At the far end of the street, on the left, can be seen the sign for the Horse and Jockey public house and beyond is the former Post Office. In later years the first two buildings on the extreme right were demolished and replaced by a Co-op food supermarket which also included Penkridge Post Office.

This postcard was published by Landscape View Publishers of Market Harborough. It was franked on 9 August 1962 in Whitehaven, Cumberland and sent to an address in Nuneaton.
