Description:This postcard view looks north from Penkridge towards the Bull Bridge which carries the A449 Wolverhampton to Stafford Road over the River Penk. It was rebuilt in 1796 and widened in 1822.

Just across the Bridge in the distance there is a signpost at the junction with Levedale Road which points east (left) towards Coppenhall and Haughton, north to Stafford and south to Wolverhampton. The bicycle on the right may belong to the photographer.
