Description:This postcard view looks south from Stone Cross along the Wolverhampton Road, (A449) towards Clay Street in Penkridge. On the left is the former Barclays Bank, next door is the former Co-operative Grocery shop and then the Butchers shop, in later years these two shops became one and currently (May 2021) occupied by the Nationwide Building Society. Further along the Road past more shops and houses and above the Morris Minor motor car is the Methodist Church. On the right there is a part view of the Littleton Arms and by the roadside is a Midland Red Bus stop and shelter.
