Description:The single storey building with a tall chimney on the right was the school, and just beyond can be seen the timber-framed gable of the School House. The spire of St. Andrew’s Church is in the background. St. Andrew's Church of England Primary School was believed to have originally been built as a barn, but became a National School in the early-mid 19th century. A new school building was built in 1960, replacing the 19th century building pictured, which is now used as the Village Hall, with the old school house a private residence
