Description:A stall raising funds for Hospital Saturday, situated at the back of the Guildhall. At the time many hospitals, including the North Staffordshire Infirmary and Eye Hospital at Hartshill were supported by voluntary contributions and fundraising activities such as this.

Marsden Brothers, the tailors and outfitters, can be made out behind the stall. Marsden Brothers stood on Newcastle's High Street from at least 1904 until 1932, and they also had a shop in Hanley.
