Description:Postcard view of St Mary's church in Uttoxeter. It features a much earlier photograph which must have been taken before 1877 as the chancel was extended in that year. To the right of the church two chimneys of the town brewery are visible, the larger one behind the vicarage. In the foreground is the embankment of the railway line heading towards Rocester, Alton and beyond.
