John Dainton (1901-1973) was a dairy manager at the Dairy factory in Uttoxeter, where his father, John Thomas Dainton (1872-1942), was General Manager. He lived at Brookside in Uttoxeter.
William Colborne Hardy (1892-1958) was a grocer with a shop at Market Place, Uttoxeter. He married Elsie Brisbourne at Atcham, Shropshire in 1922.
