Description:The Albion Pub viewed from Harber Street in Longton, looking towards Morpeth Street. Duchess China is on the opposite side of the road. The pub closed in 1995.

Harber Street was named Middle Hill Street until the early 1950s, when numerous street names were changed throughout the city of Stoke on Trent to avoid duplicates and to remove outdated names. Harber Street is believed to be named after Arthur Landon Harber, a Justice of the Peace and Mayor of Longton in 1906. He was also a founder of Hughes & Harber Ltd, Royal Press and Stationers in Market St Longton.

The street below Harber Street was originally named Lower Hill Street and is now Landon Street, also named after Arthur Landon Harber.
