Description:This postcard view shows the George Hotel on Bird Street in Lichfield. The Hotel dates from the late 18th century and it is a Grade II listed building. It was formerly a coaching inn serving the London to Chester Road. The George Hotel has been described by Pevsner as: 'one of the best late C18 hotel buildings in the land'.
