Description:This postcard view shows the east front of Shenstone Lodge. In later years the building was modified and became part of Shenstone Lodge School. It was built in the early 18th century and has been the home of a number of families. Perhaps the best known inhabitant was Admiral Sir William Parker, who purchased it in 1812.

This “Mercury” Series postcard was printed in Lichfield. It was franked in 15 June 1906 and sent to an address in Shifnal, Shropshire.
