Description:On the reverse of this postcard there is a message from the sender: “Our Village Street”. The view looks south along the Main Street from near the junction with Pinfold Hill in Shenstone. In later years the Post Office and shop on the left were demolished and replaced by housing and a parade of shops. Most of the buildings on the right remain (July 2020) although some of the cottages have been slightly modified and most of the garden walls removed.

This postcard was franked in Lichfield on 4 November 1904 and sent to an address in Shifnal, Shropshire.
