Description:A bird's eye view of Lower St taken from the tower of St Giles' Church in 1935. Showing some of the businesses who were located there including Brownsword & Sons, Builders and Shentons, Haulier. There is evidence of other small workshops along the road. The railings of the church yard can be seen on the bottom of the photograph. This site is unrecognisable today as the A34 now runs across the site.
