Description:A postcard view of a quiet scene on Station Road in Barlaston. On the left the large Victorian house amongst the trees is known as ‘The Limes’ which was built in the 1890s. In 1950 the Wedgwood Memorial College moved here from Barlaston Hall, when the hall was discovered to be suffering from dry rot.

This postcard was published by T G Adie & Co., Stone. It was franked in Stoke on Trent on 20 August 1907 and sent to an address in Ingestre, near Stafford.
