Description:A.W. Tilley's photography studio, newsagents and stationers at 7, Radford Street, Stone. Arthur William Tilley was a prolific photographer and publisher of postcards between 1896 and around 1912. He was born in Stafford in 1860 and in 1911 was living with his wife Jane, son Frederick and daughters Dorothy and Ellen at 7, Radford Street. He died on 17 May 1919 but the newsagents business was carried on by his son Frederick. The shop is now (2020) occupied by Flawless Permanent Makeup.
