Description:A postcard view of Tittensor Chase House which originally formed part of the Duke of Sutherland's nearby estate at Trentham Park. Tittensor Chase was built in the style of an Elizabethan manor house and on the central gable there is a date of 1856. In 1914 the house was purchased from the Duke of Sutherland's estate by A. Gresham Copeland, partner in the Copeland Spode pottery business, for £18,900
