Description:A view of Stramshall Mill, a water mill on the River Tean. Grade II listed, built in 1771 and originally a corn mill, it was briefly used to drive cotton spinning machinery before reverting back to grinding corn. The mill ceased working in the early 1900s.
Photograph by the Rev. C.F.L. Barnwell (1853-1933) who was Vicar of Stramshall from 1879 to 1933, and who was a keen amateur historian and photographer.
