Description:The present hall was built by Robert Barbor, a lawyer, shortly after 1734. It was sold to the Monckton family in 1779, who remained there until 1845, when they moved to Stretton Hall. The building was converted into flats in about 1945. In 2003 the Hall became a venue for conferences, weddings and other events. The extensive parkland was landscaped by Humphrey Repton.
