Description:Lantern slide view of Issak Walton and Charles Cotton's Fishing Lodge in Beresford Dale on River Dove, built in the 17th century. Dovedale was made famous by Izaak Walton and Charles Cotton who wrote The Compleat Angler, first published in 1653. Photograph believed to have been taken by Walter Williams (1876-1929) of Stafford.
