Description:This photograph of a postcard was taken on Uttoxeter Road, Kingstone. The lorry is collecting milk from local farms and belongs to Wilts United Dairies. The dairy at Weston initially processed milk and later in the 1950s only made butter, including the Fern Leaf Butter brand. Standing by the cab is Mr Derry. One of the posters on the wall to the left advertises a sale of furniture from Wanfield Hall.
