Description:A group of working coal miners receives a celebrity visit down the pit at Lea Hall Colliery, Rugeley in this photograph dated circa 1990. The clean overalls and ‘showbiz’ smiles of the celebrities (comedian Bobby Davro and TV singer Maggie Moon of Name That Tune fame) contrast with the work-toughened, blackened miners whose grim expressions suggest they are none too star struck with their famous visitors.
