Description:A postcard view looking north along the High Street, Uttoxeter. On the right is Orme & Sons which for many years was a ladies outfitters, drapers, tailors and furnishers shop. Around the time that this picture was taken there were more motor vehicles about and there is a sign for petrol on the building on the left.

This postcard picture was taken by Alfred McCann who was a member of the McCann family of photographers from Uttoxeter. It was franked in Uttoxeter on 4 September 1922 and sent to address in Liverpool.
