Description:A charcoal and chalk drawing of a horse's head in harness. Signed bottom right 'H.S.S.' The artist is believed to be Harry Shilton. he is listed in the 1939 Register as living at 14 Rangemore Street, Burton-upon-Trent with his wife Gladys W. Shilton. He is listed as being employed as a painter and decorator of showman's roundabouts. This would be for G. Orton and Sons and C.J. Spooner Ltd, fairground ride manufacturers, Lion Works, Burton-upon-Trent.
