Description:Staff pictured at Taverner's tape factory on Shobnall Street, Burton-upon-Trent. The manager at the time was Joseph Botham so he is probably one of the men sitting on the front row.

John Taverner Jr moved his tape manufactory to Shobnall Street between 1900 and 1904, his father having previously owned the tape mill at Winshill Weir. The company made cotton tape, binding and braid.
