Description:Match programme for the F.A.Cup 3rd round tie between Charlton Athletic and Burton Albion, played at Charlton's ground at the Valley on 7th January 1956. At the time Charlton were one of the stronger teams in the old First Division of the Football League, while Burton Albion were an amateur club competing in Division One of the Birmingham League. Burton Albion had an excellent cup run in the 1955-56 season, but unfortunately for Burton the difference in standard was too much to overcome and they lost 7-0.
