Description:The sales and servicing departments for BMC cars at Walstell Garage on Wolverhampton Road at Wedges Mills, Cannock. The name 'Walstell' was derived from the owners first names, Walter and Stella Swift, who set up the business in 1956.

The British Motor Corporation Ltd was formed in 1952 and was a merger of Austin and Morris. In 1954 it changed its name to British Motor Holdings Ltd (BMH) and later became part of British Leyland, and is still in existence today.
