Description:D.W. Clarke and Sons Furnishers sold everything from screws, paint and wallpaper to carpets and furniture. Here the windows advertise, amongst other things, perambultaors, mangles and sewing machines. The business was set up by Daniel Wheelwright Clarke in the late 19th century. It stood on Market Place and the site is now (2019) occupied by Yorkshire Bank.
