Description:In 1801 and 1802 Hugh Bourne and Daniel Shoebotham built a Methodist Chapel at Harriseahead which became the centre of Methodist activity in that area and beyond. It was rebuilt in 1804. The remains of this original Primitive Methodist Chapel have been incorporated into an outbuilding with only a few parts of the original walls and features remaining.
