Description:A group of people at an event in front of the statue of Doctor Samuel Johnson, Market Place, Lichfield. In the background can be seen the Barlow's tailor's shop, Mrs E.L. Rich's 'Beehive' haberdashers and seamstress shop; and Miles' shop, and the Minster Cafe. The event is probably marking the anniversary of the birth of Dr. Johnson which is held in September each year.
