Description:A postcard view of the The Vernon Yonge Arms at Blackwaters (on the B5026) between Croxton and Wetwood. It was named after the Vernon Yonge family who lived at nearby Charnes Hall until the early 20th century. In later years (around 2013) it was an Indian Restaurant and since 2015 it has been a private residence.

This postcard was published by E.J. Hurlstone of High Street, Eccleshall. It was franked in Eccleshall on 1 April 1917 and sent with “Birthday Greetings” to an address in Sandon.
