Description:A postcard view of Charnes Hall which was built around 1680. It was extended and remodelled in 1720 and then again around 1800. It was the home of the Yonge and Vernon-Yonge families. In 1916 it was purchased by the Hall family.

This postcard was published by E.J. Hurlstone of Eccleshall. It was franked in Eccleshall on 2 September 1919 and posted to an address in Bury, Lancashire.
