Description:Members of the Meir Heath Sports Club are pictured at their annual dinner held in the King’s Arms, Meir in January 1955. The Kings Arms was demolished in 2009.

Among those seated on the front row left to right: Mr R W Stanton (Chairman), Mr V Eddowes (President), Mr K Sharp (Secretary) and Mr V Tompkinson (Treasurer). Please contact us if you recognise anyone else in the photograph.
