Description:View of coal trucks underground by a loading point.

These old shafts were re-opened whilst Cannock Wood Colliery was being sunk, to provide finance for the venture. They were producing coal before 1866, when the new colliery started production, so it is thought that they were sunk in the 1830s/40s.
