Description:A postcard view of Sandon Railway Station looking north from the nearby Stafford Road B5066 bridge. Around the time this picture was taken both railway companies and specialist producers of railway subject postcards were launching and expanding their offerings, and many were produced for both publicity and commercial purposes.

This postcard was published by W H Smith & Son, Stafford. The view shows to great effect the Jacobean style of architecture of the station so often typical of the North Staffordshire Railway Company. Other noteworthy examples include Stone and Stoke-on-Trent stations.
