Date:February 1909

Description:The church was built in 1824 on the corner of Stafford Road and Park Road.
This interior view shows box pews facing the pulpit, with an arched mural behind. The scroll work on the back wall reads, "PRAISE YE THE LORD PRAISE GOD IN HIS SANCTUARY", and was painted by William Birch in 1894 at a cost of £25.

The minister of the church at the time, Rev. Dan Lawrence Evans, embarked on a series of improvements to the church during 1909 and 1910, including installing a wooden block floor and replacing the pews with moveable chairs.
