Description:Based on map and documentary evidence combined with site visits, this aerial view shows a suggested reconstruction of the main precinct of Croxden Abbey, near Rocester, around the year 1340. The abbey follows the standard Cistercian layout, with cloister, refectory and chapter house located to the south of the main abbey church. This reconstruction is the work of Ben E Cunliffe.
