Description:Based on map and documentary research combined with site visits, this aerial view shows a suggested reconstruction of the medieval manor of Acton Trussell circa 1300. The church and the manor house (now the Moathouse Hotel) can be seen in the lower portion of the image, whilst field names (where known) have been labelled accordingly. This reconstruction is the work of Ben E Cunliffe.
