Description:Based on period photographs, maps and site visits, this reconstructed view of the World War I army training camp at Brocton on Cannock Chase shows the huts that made up an area known as 'N' lines. The darker, plainer huts served as accommodation for the ranks, whilst the lighter huts on the left housed officers. Also visible are the lighter-coloured WC blocks and the ablution block (in the centre of the image), whilst on the horizon (left) is the camp's water tower. This reconstruction is the work of Ben E Cunliffe.
