Description:This scene is near to the Satnall Hills with a glimpse of Nicholls' quarry on the left, centre left the A513 Stafford to Rugeley road and in the centre the Punch Bowl. The view is quite different today (May 2019) with the spread of bracken and growth of birch woodland.

This postcard view of Cannock Chase near to Milford was franked on 7 October 1934.
