Description:A busy scene looking from Upper Brook Street into Brook Square in Rugeley.

On the left is Joseph Henry Gouldbourn’s Ironmongers shop and on the right is a sign for Frisby’s Boot and Shoe shop. In later years the buildings on the left were demolished and redeveloped and the area became pedestrianised. The building in the centre remains (April 2019) and over the years there have been various retail enterprises on the ground floor.
