Description:On the reverse of this postcard is a message, thought to have been written in 1910, as follows: “Church Lane, Slitting Mill before the Church was built to the far end of the house in the picture. Rugeley left and the Horns (public house) to the right”.
This postcard was published by G. Frith, Horse Fair Post Office, Rugeley. William Augustus 'Gus' Frith was a stationer, sub-postmaster and cabinet-maker at 55 Horse Fair, and published postcards between about 1900 and 1910.
