Description:Joseph Tresise founded a printing firm in 1859 and a year later began publishing the 'Burton Chronicle' from offices on Bank Square. In 1880 they began publishing the daily 'Burton and Derby Gazette' from offices in Station Street. Joseph died in 1893 and the business was inherited by his sons Joseph and Charles. Charles died in 1935 and his son Horace took on the business in partnership with John Churchman. The company had been at the print works on Orchard Street since the late 1960s.
